Hello Everyone,

 

The fall has come roaring at us all - from a month of debates here on CH 8 in Houston (I think we did eight debates in four weeks), plus our statewide Senatorial debate that I moderated, that aired live on all but one PBS station in Texas, and nation-wide on CSPAN.

InnerVIEWS Season VI has started - and now airs three times a week (Thursday's at 10pm, Saturday night at Midnight (actually Sundays at 12am) and again on Sundays at 5:30pm.  Plus, HoustonPBS is airing is "InnerVIEWS Classics" Sundays at 3:30pm.  So now you have no excuse for missing the show!

 

A lot of you have asked about "The Last 24" and I am happy to announce that the show won two Emmy Awards (one for Photography for Matt Brawley & Fujio Watanabe; and one for best editing, awarded to Matt Brawley).  The Special also won "Best Documentary in Texas" from the 2008 Houston Press Club "Lone Star Awards" - we are all very proud!
