Gene SIMMONS
Gene Simmons burst onto the music scene as “The Demon” in the band KISS, which he co-founded. He ranks number 12 in Roadrunner’s 50 Best Frontmen in Metal History and has been nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. While Simmons is still a respected musician, he's also become a successful businessman and a reality TV star, with such hit series as “My Dad the Rock Star”, “Mr. Romance”, “Rock School” and “Gene Simmons' Family Jewels”. Jim LEHRER
Jim Lehrer’s name is synonymous with television journalism. With his partner of over 20 years, Robert MacNeil, he helped redefine the evening newscast and brought the in-depth discussion of current affairs the American audience hungered for. A former Marine, he has been called the "Dean of Moderators" for having conducted almost a dozen presidential debates. He has received an Emmy Award, a National Humanities medal, and in 1999 he was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame. Loretta DEVINE
Native Houstonian Loretta Devine has taken Broadway and the silver screen by storm, grabbing the nation’s attention with her breakout role as Lorrell in the original Broadway production of Dreamgirls. Bill MOYERS
Bill Moyers served as White House Press Secretary in the Johnson Administration from 1965 to 1967. He was a news commentator on television for ten years. But today, Moyers is probably best known for his extensive involvement with public television, producing documentaries and news journal programs. He has received over thirty Emmy Awards as well as becoming well known as a critic of the media.
